This time, I will write about a topic that was very famous two months ago: the 2014 FIFA World Cup. This tournament was in Brazil and was the 20th FIFA World Cup. In this tournament, the champion was Germany. This team was one of the favourites to win the cup, so, is not surprising that Germany won the cup.
This FIFA World Cup had many surprises and amazing scores. For example Brazil, the first candidate to win the cup, was eliminated for Germany in the semifinal, for a score of 7-1. Amazing isn't it? Another wide margin was the match between Netherlands and Spain: 5-1 for Netherlands. The sames teams of the earlier final of the FIFA World Cup, but with a very different score (the earlier final was 1-0 for Spain).
Another surprise of this tournament was Costa Rica. This team was considered like the "Cinderella" of the FIFA World Cup because, in the statistics, was the worst team. But, for surprise of all, this team won his matches against Italy (1-0) and Uruguay (3-0, a wide margin isn't it?), two worlds powers, and qualify for the 8th of final. In that instance, Costa Rica won in penalties to Greece, in a very very boring 0-0. The "Cinderella" was eliminated in 4th of final in front of Netherlands in penalties too, what a shame!
But, the most surprising moment was the shoot of Pinilla, that shoot hit in the crossbar in the 120th minute! Nobody can believe that yet. If this shoot would have been goal, maybe the champion will be another national team...
In spite of this surprises, the 2014 FIFA World Cup has finished and we have to wait another 4 year to see again this 32 nationals teams fighting for win the most precious trophy in the world of the football.

The weight of history
Hi there, this is my first post. So, enjoy it!
A country I'd like to visit? I don't know. Many countries are greats I think. One of them is England, because the culture of this country is amazing. Hundreds of years of history and culture are in cities like London or Liverpool.
The little that I know about England is thanks to the books or the movies, besides the things that taught me in the school, of course. Also I know a lot of English football thanks to the TV, internet, newspaper and even the videogames.
Particularly, I'd like to visit London, because is the most important city on this country, I think. In this city, I'd like to get around all the day. I'd like to go to the museums, to the historical monuments, like castles, and I'd like to taste different food. But, the most important thing that I'd like to do in England is go to a football match in a fantastic stadium, like Wembley or the Emirates Stadium.
I would like go to England to study for a few months, wich is enough for me, because I would like to continue living in Chile for now.
